This seminar introduces the components of workplace productivity as the melding of employee attributes and behavioral choices. Participants are required to work through case studies of both informal and formal EAP referrals. An introduction to the dynamics of chemical dependency and the impact of chemical abuse at work is briefly explored.

Throughout the program, workplace leaders are challenged with leadership skills, communications and internal attitudes which maximize productivity and career success for all. Work-team leadership is viewed through the ‘glasses’ of employee motivation,  sense of value and personal fulfillment. An interactive overview of the cultural /historical patterns that shape desirable and optimum employee attributes is introduced.  This exercise provides the foundation for an unparalleled ‘back door’ look into the participants’ personal supervisory expectations. The psychology, skills, and behaviors constituting optimum team leadership are linked with exposure to the tools Connections EAP brings to the table.
